Michael Leyba was born in Los Angeles, California a few years back when California was known for it’s fruits and nuts.
He graduated from high school there and left his mother to join the Air Force. After much travels he ended up in West Texas. There Michael started teaching school and has been here ever since. He married Karen Dominguez July 11, 1998 in McCamey, Texas and they moved to Midland with her three children; Sandra, Jaime, and Jennifer. Michael has three children too. They are James, David, and Erin.

Michael has a passion for life and loves his almight father, Jehovah most of all. Then comes his wife, Karen and all their children. He has a passion also for learning and teaching. Michael has been a photographer for over 30 years and is now on the threshold of his full-time vocation as a portrait photographer. He also enjoys playing basketball.
